Backstory: Maddox is the son of The Mad Hatter, his mother is unknown, and Terrant won't talk about it, when he does, no one truly understands what it is he's saying anyway. He grew up with Red's older sister Kathleen (oc). Deeply knowledgeable about both girls' stories. Why Kathy got banished, who Red's mother is, all of it, but he has been sworn to secrecy. While his father had a strong dislike for the Queen of Hearts, Maddox didn't see her evil in Kathleen, and instead tried to become her friend. Following the birth of Red, and the death of Kathy's mother, he found himself being drawn more and more to Castle Heart.

As Red grew older, he began to tutor her, actually having a wing in the castle all his own for all of his fun gadgets and gizmos. While he does know that there is darkness within the King of Heart's, heart, he chooses not to see it, due to what he knows about his girls, and what took place with the Queen of Hearts. He is however not a fan of what the King has done to Anastasia and Will, nor is he pleased with the manipulating of individuals like Belle's hearts. He continues to choose silence however, so that he can protect Red as much as possible.

Backstory: The Mad Hatter, was a free spirit, working joyously as a hatter for the White Queen, but at the beginning of the war between the sisters, he was caught and taken prisoner by the Queen of Hearts. Helped to become free by Alice Kingsleigh, only to later learn that the Queen of Hearts was beheaded, sentenced to death by her own Husband, the King of Hearts. For many years, Hatter continued his work for The White Queen, fearful that the King would rebel and cause issues, but no such thing occurred. Then, there was the Storybrooke Curse. This curse caused things to get a little scrambled within Underland, but it was nothing that Hatter wasn't used to, nothing like a little scrambling after all.

Continuing to work for The White Queen, until her death, he was met with an unexpected choice to make. Would he stay in Underland, and work for the Red King, as his son does, or would be go to Storybrooke and live out the rest of his days there? Or you know, however long he would have that option.

Backstory: Closest to Hatter, he tends to avoid the sanity by casting out his own insanity. During the war between Red and White queen, he was a neutral. When the curse was cast he went into hiding, remaining within Underland, and now the white queen is dead, leaving Underland controlled by The King of Hearts, he must make a choice, remain in hiding or find himself a new place within the new order.


Facts: Prior to the placement of the curse The Evil Queen cast, creating Storybrooke, Maine. The March Hare was, his scroungy hare self, nothing more. Since the casting of the curse he has the ability to change from a hare to a human being within the world of Underland, while within the rest of The Enchanted Forest, he can only be a hare, and within the real world, he is entirely human.

Backstory: Back before the Red Queen was killed, by the Red King, The White Rabbit was slave to the Red Queen's demands. Following her death he became a messanger for The White Queen, moving back and forth between the White and Red castles, as well as going between other worlds within The Enchanted Forest. Upon the Storybrooke curse being cast, Nivens was jolted into the Real World along with everyone else. There he worked as a town crier for Storybrooke, as he was in charge of the newspaper, Keeping everyone well informed.

When the curse was broken, he remembered who he was, and worked relentlessly with multiple others, including Zarina the Alchemy Pixie to return to The Enchanted Forest. Once he had been able to do so, he returned to his usual duties, serving The White Queen, that was, up until her passing.

Now, the border between Underland and The Real World has been locked off, and the writer must decide what side of the gate they are on.... And what it is they're doing while they're there.

Backstory: Jay is one of the core four who came from the Isle of the Lost, son of the villain Jafar, he is not aware that his father was killed after what he'd done to Agrabah and Princess Jasmine. His story follows much of the movies, so him being with Lonnie is entirely up to the writer, as we do normally tend to ship with chemistry. Upon the disappearance of Ben's parents, the mainland of Auradon was quite on edge, and he had returned from the Sherwood University to assist the King and Queen to which he is a large supporter. When Mal ended up vanishing he found himself teaming up with the usual crew, in order to find a way to bring her back.

Backstory: Carlos is the youngest child of Cruella De Vil, with an older sister by the name of Dominique (oc), a designer of perfume who actually perfected her trade on The Isle of Lost Souls, before the curse cast by The Evil Queen drug her to Storybrooke, Maine. Carlos of course was among the first four, the main VKs to go to Auradon. It's here that he meets many friends, including his closest pal Dude, his furry companion, despite all the horrible things that his mother had told him about dogs. Carlos was always one of the better mannered, and the kinder of the VK's so being a 'good kid' came pretty easily for him.

Despite being naive he's also pretty brainy, and helps his friends with many a tasks. It is because of his intellect that following Mal's disappearance he is able to deduce that she has in fact been drug to another world, after discovering that many of the villains have gone missing as well, including, but not limited to Hades, The Evil Queen, Jafar (who is now deceased though unknown to Auradon), Maleficent (also dead, though again not known to Auradon) and Faciliar. Though while he has gotten braver in the past couple of years, he's not entirely sure he's ready to go on a rescue mission of this magnitude, not knowing where all the baddies in fact are, or just how many others might be among them.


Facts: Dude will become an automatic NPC played by whoever takes this role, and yes... He is still able to talk.

Backstory: Being the daughter of Cinderella and Prince Charming, Chloe had learned a great many skills far beyond that of just being a royal. She has learned to respect people, no matter what their background, and to always be honorable. While she is the younger sister to Chad Charming, she does tend to be quite a bit more intelligent than he is, not just relying on her looks to get her through life she wishes to be an independent woman. She first met Red when she was freed from The Isle of The Lost, where all the villains of their parents past stories were kept imprisoned before having children of their own.

At first she and Red don't really hit it off too well, but as she comes to realize that Red is not all that bad, that she has potential and is fighting to see the good in herself, Chloe had become friends with her, and fights to help her when and where she can. Rather devastated when she up and disappears, only for the concerns to grow in volume when Queen Mal herself disappears within a cloud of smoke. Certain that one of their villains from the isle are responsible she is ready to team up with King Ben, Evie, Jay and Carlos to find who is responsible.


Facts: You can use the movie as reference for the relationship Red and Chloe have, just know that there is no Queen of Hearts, there is only a King of Hearts, and there is no travel back in time to make things right (no her mother is not sentenced to death either)

Backstory: Evie is Mal's nearest and dearest friend and her right hand bad girl. When Evie first came from the isle to Auradon, she came across as nothing more than a pretty face, a complete airhead that cared about nothing more than getting herself a prince, like her mom wanted and becoming a queen like she was meant to be. It wasn't until after her Prince Charming turned on her that she was forced to challenge herself, and showed the world, with the help of Dopey's son Doug, that anything and everything was possible.


Facts: Much of her story actually follows the canon, no major changes to report at this time.

As stated above, you do not have to ship her with Doug, but she will still have her same job and live in a nice little cottage in Auradon.

Backstory: Princess Audrey is the ex girlfriend of King Ben. She believed the two of them were destined to be together. He was a prince, soon to become king, she was a princess, the most popular girl in the school. They were simply meant for one another within her eyes. Upon the arrival of Carlos, Jay, Evie and Mal however things seemed to take a turn for her. She got less and less attention until finally she and Ben parted ways and he ended up going for Mal. The daughter of the same wicked woman who put her mother to sleep, how could things possibly get any worse? It was because of this she became the Queen of Mean. Taking the crown for her own, and Maleficent's scepter she was determined to get just what she deserved. The canon of chis character continues through until she is awakened and freed of the spell the scepter had her under.

Back to her beautiful lovely self, she continued her life as normal, this was until she learned that Queen Mal was gone. Like Ben's parents she had vanished, and this was her chance to get in good with the King, to help to reassure him, and comfort him and perhaps win her way back to the throne, back to being queen and getting everything back for herself that Mal had stolen from her. To show her mother that she was still capable of great things. She would not be doing this with Maleficent's staff however, for after her mother disappeared (was killed but this lot doesn't know that), Mal had reclaimed her mother's staff, and actually has it with her in Storybrooke.

The verse is going to be shifted, a great deal to fit in the other Disney+ verses, including once upon a time. So while we shall do what we can to preserve the essence of the characters themselves, the franchise will be a bit more of a cluster fuck.
