Backstory: Travis' has a rather secret past. He had once run with a group that were less than civil, and when he moved to the United States he had decided that he would lead a straight edged life. It was during this time that he had met Anica Van Buren. It took little true effort for him to woo her, and the two became married. By the time Anica was twenty-two years old, she was already the mother of a two year old little girl, Emily Stanton.

With her older brother Andre, continuing to host the events of the annual masquerade ball that her parents had done before they died, Travis had requested that some friends.... Of sorts, watch over Emily, not trusting Andre to be anywhere near her, and.... For good reason. It was during this party that Andre had begun his massacre, and Travis had done well to keep out of it. When Anica pushed to get involved however he went into a panic and attempted to stop her.

Failing to do so, he watched Andre attack his wife, before he himself went after the man. When Andre had taunted him with the fact that his wife wasn't dead, that she was merely turned, Travis found himself rushing to her aid and leaving Andre to continue to his massacre. By the time Anica had awoken from her slumber, Travis was out. A two year old Emily was left with Malik the alpha of the Sanguis Wolf Pack that lived on the outskirts of the property line, instead of collecting his daughter however he requested that Malik keep her safe, and not let even her mother into the woods.

By the time he had returned, Anica lay shaking and terrified over a recently shredded Richard Van Buren.... Richard of course was her younger brother, just freshly turned eighteen and had in fact won the affection of the alpha that Travis had just spoken with. Anica went into a rage with her husband and brother for them turning her into a monster, despite Travis having no part in it, and he attempted to calm her, but to no real avail.

For the next few days he had attempted to put her dormant, to allow her a chance to settle on her new life, and perhaps get her brother Andre out of her head enough that he could reclaim his wife, and have his life back. Unfortunately he was also absent when his wife revived from her dormant state, and Andre had gotten the advantage of getting his claws in her again. Roughly twenty years later they rose and once again Andre had thrown a ball, to finish off the next generation, the offspring of those who may have survived the last massacre.

The wolves alerted of the awakening of Andre Carmaine, had decided it was time to take him out permanently, and they made their way to the estate event. Emily of course had managed to sneak inside, and by the time Meka, the niece of the alpha and his only living family had arrived to the manor house, Anica was the only one who was brought out alive... Or so it was believed. Travis had of course learned of the fire from the locals, and hearing that there were no survivors only to learn later that his wife and daughter had both gone inside, he fled Louisiana, changed his name, and made a new life for himself.

Facts: Travis returned to Torture after learning about the Wolf Wars, while he was aware of the first and second V-Wars attacks, it wasn't until Wolf Wars that he really got his interest perked.

- V-Wars was his daughter turning people into broken blood demons.

- Wolf Wars was a witch overtaking the Sanguis Wolf Pack, and drawing Anica out of the manor to go on a killing spree.
