Backstory: Wren's story is pretty basic, leaving room for the writer to add in their little bits as they so desire.

Facts: When Wren was little, against her parents wishes, her aunt would tell her stories about the Van Buren Estate, soon enough named the Sanguis Estate. She would tell her all about the crazy family, the Van Buren's who used to host beautiful masquerade balls, until one year, the family just flipped, and there was a massacre. Then the estate seemed to fade into the shadows, until twenty years later when there was another massacre. Her ancestor had died in the first massacre, but they had left their son at home, so while both parents were killed, the line continued. The second massacre obviously the son didn't go, haunted by the nightmares of what took place and now, all these years later... She got a letter, telling her to come to Torture, Louisiana, home.... Of Sanguis Estate.
